Welcome to St Martin’s Catholic Primary School
We are a small Voluntary Aided school provided by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham and maintained by Reading Borough. We base our work on the Gospel values of love and inclusion and our Vision statement makes the commitment to “inspire all to lead, through love and service, the life of purpose and excellence that God wants for us.” A child is a gift from God and the first and best teachers of any child are his or her own parents.
We are proud of our children and their achievements, our academic standards and the selfless commitment of our staff and our wonderful parent community; a community which we are proud to serve. We believe in working closely with parents to provide the best for our children spiritually, morally and academically.
If you choose our school, you will find a welcoming and caring ethos from pupils, staff and other parents as we work together to grow and develop. If you have any queries, do not hesitate to contact us. If you would like to make an appointment to look round the school, you would be most welcome.

Acting Headteacher at St Martin’s
