Welcome to St Martin’s Catholic Primary School
We are a small Voluntary Aided school provided by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham and maintained by Reading Borough. We base our work on the Gospel values of love and inclusion and our Vision statement makes the commitment to “inspire all to lead, through love and service, the life of purpose and excellence that God wants for us.” A child is a gift from God and the first and best teachers of any child are his or her own parents.
We are proud of our children and their achievements, our academic standards and the selfless commitment of our staff and our wonderful parent community; a community which we are proud to serve. We believe in working closely with parents to provide the best for our children spiritually, morally and academically.
If you choose our school, you will find a welcoming and caring ethos from pupils, staff and other parents as we work together to grow and develop. If you have any queries, do not hesitate to contact us. If you would like to make an appointment to look round the school, you would be most welcome.

- Privacy. You may be aware that from 25 May 2018, the rules around data protection changed. The ‘General Data Protection Regulation’ (GDPR) changes how we can use your personal data and keep it safe, and also strengthens your rights over your own data. The new regulations make sure sensitive or private information about yourselves and your children remains safe. Whilst it is similar to the Data Protection Act that it replaces in many ways, there are some differences which will mean a few changes at school and on our website in order to ensure we remain compliant. A link to our Privacy Notice will appear here soon.
