St Martin’s School is part of the cluster of Catholic schools which feed into Blessed Hugh Faringdon Catholic School in Reading.
Choosing a secondary school for your child is an important decision. The secondary schools in Reading and South Oxfordshire all offer open days/evenings and we would urge you attend as many as possible before submitting your application.
A secondary school admissions information meeting is held early in September for parents of Year 6 children, to ensure that you have up to date information on the admission procedures for that year.
Parents who wish their child to take the entrance examinations for Reading School, Kendrick School, St Joseph’s College or the Abbey School should contact those schools directly to ensure that the correct application procedures are followed.
While we are happy to discuss secondary school options for your child, you should be aware that no preparation for entrance tests takes place in school and that we are not able to recommend private tutors.
